Earlier, Arsenal, Chelsea, and Tottenham Hotspur were also on the hunt for the 25-year-old footballer but he preferred Barca since it was always his dream to play for the Spanish giants.
The Brazilian footballer scored 17 goals and provided 12 assists in 65 Premier League games in two seasons at Leeds United.
