Chelsea has agreed to a fee with English Premier League rivals Manchester City to sign Raheem Sterling.
'The Blues' have put together a package worth up to 50 million pounds for sterling, once add-ons are included. The 27-year-old is expected to undergo a medical in the next few days before signing a five-year contract at the Stamford Bridge.
It is expected the deal will be done in time for Sterling to link up with the Chelsea squad before they leave for their pre-season tour to the United States next week.
Sterling scored 13 goals in 30 Premier League appearances last season, as he won his fourth league title, his ninth major honour in seven seasons with City.
He did not fall out with City manager Pep Guardiola but is understood to want a new challenge, and he will become Chelsea's first major signing since they were taken over by Todd Boehly's consortium at the end of May.
