Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has welcomed the Glazer family's decision to explore the sale of the club.
Terming the move a good thing, Ten Hag said that he has been reassured that any change in ownership of the club will not impact the objectives, goals and culture.
Citing examples of recent investments in Newcastle and West Ham, the Red Devils boss said that United needed more investment just to keep up in the Premier League and that it was important the funds were spent wisely.
United's US owners Glazers started looking for sale options last month, 17 years after buying the club.
The Glazers have been facing intense criticism from fans as 20-time EPL champions United haven't won a trophy for five consecutive years now.
