Erling Haaland etched his name in history books on Tuesday night as he smashed 5 goals for Manchester City as they dismantled RB Leipzig at the Etihad Stadium on Tuesday, winning the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final 7-0 to take the tie 8-1 on aggregate.
The Norwegian became only the third player to achieve such a feat in the competition, following Lionel Messi and Luiz Adriano.
The result put City through to the last eight of the competition for a sixth season in a row.
Reacting to this stupendous feat, Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola said that Haaland's life would be 'boring' had he broke Messi's record.
