Following his departure from Real Madrid after 14 years, Karim Benzema signed to play for the Saudi Arabian club Al-Ittihad on Monday.
According to the Guardian, Benzema's contract with the Saudi champions is understood to be for two years, with the option of a further season.
The move will also see Benzema face former teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, who plays for Al Nassr.
Former France international Benzema, who is also the reigning Ballon d’Or winner, ended his stint in La Liga as Real Madrid didn't activate the one-year extension clause in his contract.
