After Lionel Messi's exit, comes another shocker from Paris-Saint Germain!
Star striker Kylian Mbappé stunned the French champions on Monday with a formal letter announcing his decision to not renew his contract with PSG which ends in June 2024.
The French giants had purchased Mbappé in 2018 for a whopping $194m and will look to get at least some return for their purchase. If the forward continues at PSG till 2024, he will be able to leave on a free transfer.
But it is likely that the club will sell him this summer to pocket some gains.
While the 24-year-old's decision will put him in the spotlight of European clubs, the timing of his announcement is a bit coincidental.
It comes days after Real Madrid allowed their ace striker Karim Benzema to leave for the Saudi Pro League.
Los Blancos, who were shunned by Mbappé in the past, will reportedly try and land the 2018 World Cup winner.
