Real Madrid defeated Espanyol 4-0 on Saturday after Rodrygo scored two first-half goals. The win helped the Spanish giants win a record extending 35th La Liga title with 4 matches still to go.

Rodrygo put Real in the lead with his two goals in the first-half. Marco Asenio extended the lead with his third goal in the 55 minutes. La Liga top scorer Karim Benzema scored fourth goal for his team in the 81st minute.
Real Madrid now have 81 points and are 17 points ahead of Sevilla, who is placed second and 18 points away from Barcelona.
After this title win, Real Madrid can now focus on second leg of their Champions League semi-final against Manchester City on Wednesday.
