Barcelona came from behind to beat defending champions Atletico Madrid 4-2 in a thriller on Sunday night in La Liga.
The goal-fest at Camp Nou started with Yannick Carrasco's goal in the 8th minute, putting defending champions ahead.
However, Barca, pumped in front of home fans, scored the equaliser two minutes later as Jordi Alba netted the volley while in the 21st minute Pablo Gaviria headed another to put the Catalans ahead.
Barcelona dominated every part of the game and just before halftime, Ronald Araujo scored the third goal, putting his team in a 3-1 lead.
Barcelona completely shut the door for Atletico's comeback in the 49th minute, when Dani Alves scored the 4th goal.
The defending champions made four substitutions to stage a comeback but scored only one as Luis Suarez headed in a cross in the 58th minute.
After the win, Barcelona moved to the 4th spot on the LaLiga points table with 38 points from 22 games while Atletico slumped to fifth, two points behind the Catalans. Real Madrid continued to top the charts with 53 points in 23 games.
