Football star Lionel Messi extended his support for Real Madrid striker Karim Benzema to win this year's Ballon d’Or award.
While talking to an Argentine TV channel, Messi said that there's is no doubt that Benzema deserves to win his first Ballon d’Or award given the French striker had a spectacular year.

Benzema scored 44 goals in 46 matches for his Spanish club Real Madrid this season. He played a crucial role in Real's 14th Champions League title and 35th LaLiga title.
Ballon d'Or is a prestigious award in football and is given to the best player in the world. This year's Ballon d'Or award will be presented on October 17 with the nominees set to be revealed on August 12.
