After showing his unhappiness by going public over Thomas Tuchel's style of play, Chelsea forward Romelu Lukaku has apologised to the manager and promised to clean up the mess.

The Chelsea manager believes that Lukaku can regain the trust of the club, his teammates, and the fans.

He added that the Belgian forward is aware of the situation and took full responsibility to clean the mess up.

Tuchel further added that Lukaku is an emotional guy and doesn't hold back with his opinions and sometimes he carries his heart on his tongue but this does not mean it reflects his overall mood and attitude he shows.

Notably, Lukaku said in an interview with Italian broadcaster Sky that he was not happy with the situation at Chelsea and questioned manager Tuchel's style of play. Tuchel responded by leaving the Chelsea's record signing out of the game against Liverpool in the Premier League on Sunday.
