Indian Super League champions, Mohun Bagan, held a grand event in Kolkata to launch their new jersey for the upcoming season. The jersey launch was graced by the Mariners' owner, Dr. Sanjiv Goenka, who was joined by two new signings, Indian midfielder Anirudh Thapa, and Australian striker Jason Cummings.
During the unveiling, Dr. Sanjiv Goenka emphasized the significance of the jersey as a symbol of the club's strong connection with its fans. He stated, "The jersey serves as a unifying symbol, fostering a strong bond between the players and the passionate supporters who are a part of the Mohun Bagan Super Giant family. Together we will continue this journey of excellence and achievement."
Following their victory against Bengaluru FC in the ISL final, the club underwent a name change, removing the prefix 'ATK' and adding 'Super Giant' as the suffix. In addition to the new jersey, Mohun Bagan also introduced a fresh logo earlier this month, featuring the new club name, Mohun Bagan Super Giant.
