Parents of Liverpool's Luis Díaz kidnapped in Colombia

In a shocking incident, parents of Liverpool's Luis Díaz were kidnapped in Colombia on Saturday.

According to reports, the footballer's parents were driving in a car in the region of La Guajira when they were taken by armed individuals.

The mother of the Colombia forward is safe but his father remains missing according to Colombian authorities.

Colombia’s director of the police, William Salamanca, was seen speaking to Diaz’s mother in a video released by the authorities. President Gustavo Pertro confirmed in a post on X that the search for Diaz’s father was on.
