Manchester City continued with its dominating run in the premier league as it thrashed Manchester United 4-1 in the Premier League on Sunday night at the Etihad Stadium.
Kevin de Bruyne dominated the first half. He put the Citizens ahead in just the 5th minute and despite Jadon Sancho's equaliser, Bruyne restored City's lead in the 28th minute.
Riyad Mahrez then followed suit and completed a brace in the second half to humiliate United, which was without injured Cristiano Ronaldo and Edinson Cavani.
While the result further dented United's chances of sealing the 4th spot, City on the other hand consolidated their lead at the top.
