Pep Guardiola's men closed in on EPL table-toppers Arsenal as they hand Leicester City a 3-1 defeat at the Etihad Stadium.

While John Stones opened the account for the Citizens in the 5th minute itself, Erling Haaland kept up his sensational form as he scored a brace to help the hosts maintain their winning streak.

Haaland got one from the penalty spot and Kevin de Bruyne set up his 2nd goal in the 25th minute as Manchester City --- The Norwegian now has 32 goals in a single Premier League season. The hosts are now just 3 points behind Arsenal, who are sitting atop the EPL table.

Meanwhile, Frank Lampard's ill luck continued as the hapless Chelsea suffered another embarrassing defeat in Premier League, making it their 5th EPL game without a win. Though Conor Gallagher provided an early lead to the Blues, Danny Welbeck, and Julio Enciso both struck one each to take their team to a 2-1 win.

Bournemouth beat Tottenham in a 5-goal thriller as Matias Vina, Dominic Salanke and Dango Ouattara scored for Eddie Howe's side. Wolves' Dego Costa and Hwang Hee-Chan scored one each in the 27th and 69th minute to beat Brentford 2-0. Fulham and Crystal Palace too registered a win against Everton and Southampton by 3-1 and 2-0 respectively.
