Liverpool and Chelsea played out a 0-0 draw at Anfield on Saturday.
Chelsea forward Kai Havertz did find the breakthrough early in the first half, only for his goal to be ruled out for offside by VAR.
The Blues' big-money signing Mykhailo Mudryk came on as a substitute and impressed on his debut for the Blues. But both teams failed to capitalise on their chances with a poor showing in the final third.
The draw leaves both teams well behind the Champions league spots, with Liverpool in 8th and Chelsea in 10th position currently.
