To make matters worse, Crystal Palace, who were without manager Patrick Vieira, who tested positive for covid-19, lost Wilfried Zaha in the 37th minute, right after Spurs' blitzkrieg. The second half was largely played in a defensive mode by both teams as it remained uneventful but the home side managed another goal in the 74th minute.
Son Heung-Min got on the scoresheet as Antonio Conte's men completed a thumping 3-0 win over Crystal Palace. Three points on the night took Tottenham's tally to 29 and they are still six points behind 4th placed Arsenal, but have played three games less than them.
