Football fans from across the world can expect great hospitality during the FIFA World Cup in Qatar after the hosts came up with an array of accommodation options.
In order to minimise the economic burden after the showpiece event, the Qatari authorities are allowing residents to lend their apartments to fans coming to the country.
Fans have to apply for a Hayya card, a personalised document that will be issued by Qatari authorities and will be required by every single person attending the World Cup matches.

Hayya cards will be mandatory for those wanting to attend football matches around Qatar.
The card will act as an entry permit for international visitors. It will also provide several benefits, including free public transport for ticket holders on match days.
Cruise ships, camps along with caravans will be also available for fans' lodgings.
Fans can apply for a Hayya Card via Qatar 2022 official website. There are various accommodation options available, starting from $80.
