The Spanish football club Real Madrid has been crowned the most valuable football club in Europe for the fourth consecutive year.
The European Elite 2022 report, published by the Football Benchmark platform, and a separate report by Forbes put Real on the top. While the Football benchmark report put the Spanish giants on the top with a valuation of 3.184 billion euros ($3.4 billion), Forbes ranked Real top with 4.8 billion euros ($5.1 billion).
According to the Football benchmark report, Manchester United, with a valuation of 2.9 billion euros, and Barcelona, with a valuation of 2.8 billion euros are the 2nd and 3rd most valuable football clubs respectively.

The Football Benchmark report's author, Andrea Sartori said, "Real Madrid have extended their lead at the top due to continuous sporting and commercial success."
Real Madrid is set to play their Champions League final against Liverpool on Saturday.
