Romelu Lukaku is all set to return to Inter Milan as he has agreed on a season-long loan deal with his former club. This has, however, sparked a forward-line reshuffle at Chelsea.
The Belgian, who signed for a club-record 98 million pounds to join the Blues in the summer of 2021, will return to Serie A for a loan fee of 8 million euros.
Lukaku might have finished his 2nd stint at Chelsea as the leading scorer, but the 29-year-old courted controversy on several occasions, most notably in an interview with an Italian TV channel revealing unhappiness at the Stamford Bridge.
The Belgian footballer then issued a public apology to Chelsea fans in January after that interview backfired.
