Erik Ten Hag's men were dumped out of the Europa League after suffering an embarrassing 3-0 defeat at the hands of Sevilla. The La Liga club booked its place in the semifinals of the tournament after a 5-3 aggregate win.
The result was tied at 2-2 before United played the 2nd leg in Spain. The Red Devils floundered terribly in front of the 6-time winners as Youssouf En Nesyri twice capitalised on United's mistakes and scored in the 8th and 81st minute. In between, Loic Blade too found the net with a header in the 47th minute.
Sevilla will now face Juventus in the semifinals after the Italian club won their quarterfinal against Sporting 2-1 (agg)
Meanwhile, Leverkusen defeated Union Saint Gilloise to enter the semifinals and will now meet Roma who beat Feyenoord 4-2 (agg) in quarters.
