On Lionel Messi and if he deserves to be nominated for Sportsperson of the Year
“I will always nominate him for any kind of award, but obviously, you know, to have him in our team, to have him in the MLS, and to have him in America is very special, not just for obviously the Miami fans, but the whole of America are talking about Miami and they're talking about the MLS, and they're talking about the game. So that's the most important thing. And Leo has been a revelation from the moment he touched down in Miami, Next season, I think to be even more special.“

“To be honest, I'm personally excited because obviously the last World Cup was such a huge success, and now, obviously, when the World Cup comes to America, Canada and Mexico in 2026… obviously, I'm always excited around World Cup year, but I think it's another moment, especially obviously being an MLS owner team, you know, the lead up to this World Cup, I think it's going to be really exciting and I think it's going to be showcased in the way it should be showcased. So, I'm personally excited. And to obviously Vegas gets to host, you know, one of the games. Who knows? But if it does, then I think it's going to be spectacular. “
