A large mural of late Argentine football star Diego Maradona was unveiled in Buenos Aires ahead of this month's FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
The painting, located on the side of a 14-storey building, shows Maradona wearing his national team's jersey with his right hand in a fist and a defiant expression on his face.
Street artist Martín Ron was behind the mural, which he says was inspired by a photograph of the then-Argentine captain that captures his expression shortly before he sang the national anthem at the 1990 World Cup final against West Germany, which Argentina lost 1-0.
Ron claims the mural in the Argentine capital is the largest one of Maradona in the world.
