After edging past Chelsea on penalties in the League Cup final earlier this year, Liverpool once again beat the Blues in a similar fashion as they won the FA Cup final 6-5 on penalties at the Wembley Stadium on Saturday.
The scoreline read 0-0 after 90 minutes as the game went into extra time. James Milner, Thiago Alcantara, Roberto Firmino, Trent John Alexander-Arnold, Diogo Jota and Kostas Tsimikas converted their spot-kicks but it was Alisson Becker who emerged as the hero with some excellent saves for the Reds.
