In what will be the first of many celebrations, Argentina's World Cup champions squad celebrated with tens of thousands of fans on an open-top bus parade.
Lusail boulevard in Qatar lit up in Argentine colours as fans chanted slogans and cheered their heroes for a memorable campaign.
Led by Lionel Messi, Argentina won their first world title since 1986, and third overall.
They beat France in a penalty shootout after a dramatic 3-3 draw over 120 minutes in Sunday's final.
The players are expected to fly back to Buenos Aires to a heroes' welcome soon.
