New manager Erik ten Hag made a perfect start as Manchester United boss after his team thrashed Liverpool 4-0 at the Rajamangala National Stadium in Bangkok.
The Red Devils were dominant throughout the first half of their pre-season friendly, taking a 3-0 lead with Jadon Sancho, Fred and Anthony Martial all scoring before the halfway mark.
Jürgen Klopp’s men in fact couldn't even find the back of the net throughout the match and Facundo Pellistri's goal in the 76th minute of the game sealed the victory for United.
In their first little silverware under the new manager, Manchester United lifted the Bangkok Century Cup.
Erik ten Hag’s men will now travel to Australia for their pre-season match against Melbourne Victory on Friday.
Meanwhile, Liverpool will head to Singapore to play against another Premier League side Crystal Palace.
