After a thrilling football match between India and Afghanistan that saw the Blue Tigers win 2-1 in injury time, a group of Indian and Afghan players were caught on camera fighting with one another.
In a video that has now gone viral, a couple of players from both sides can be seen arguing and shoving each other before it all escalated into a full-scale brawl. Indian goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu, who ran in to stop the players from fighting, ended up taking a punch on the face by an Afghan player.

The AFC officials had to rush onto the ground to handle the situation. The reason for the brawl is still unknown and the AFC Asian Cup Qualifiers organising committee is yet to issue a statement on the incident.
India and Afghanistan played their group match at the Salt Lake Stadium on Saturday, a game that witnessed three late goals with Sahal Samad scoring the winner in extra time. The victory assured India of a second-placed finish in Group D.
