The jinx continues!

After winning the Champions Trophy in 2013, it's been 10 years that India has returned empty-handed from 9 ICC events.

Rohit Sharma's men came very close to ending the ICC title drought but faltered on the final hurdle.

Let's take a look at how Team India fared in all 9 ICC events gone by in the last 10 years.

India lost the T20 World Cup Final against Sri Lanka in 2014

The Men in Blue then faltered in the ODI World Cup semifinals in 2015 and went down to hosts Australia.

A defeat against the West Indies in the T20 World Cup 2016 semifinals followed next.

India was the favourite to win the Champions Trophy in 2017 but lost the final against Pakistan.

The 2019 ODI World Cup campaign was the next tournament where Team India failed to break the jinx. A Virat Kohli-led side lost the Semifinal against New Zealand.

India then failed to win the inaugural World Test Championship and lost to New Zealand in the Final in 2021.

Rohit Sharma's men were then decimated by England in the 2022 T20 World Cup semifinal.

Team India made it to the WTC final once again in 2023 but couldn't win it on the second attempt either.

And now, the subcontinental giants failed to clinch the 2023 ODI World Cup title in their own backyard and went down to Australia in the final.
