ODI World Cup 2023 Points Table: New Zealand go top, South Africa second after emphatic win

With New Zealand going top after their nine-wicket victory over defending champions on October 5, South Africa were second after their emphatic 102-run win over Sri Lanka.

Pakistan and Bangladesh made the remaining top 4 with positive net run-rates and 2 points each. 

While, Afghanistan, Netherlands, Sri Lanka and England were relegated to the bottom-4 after respective losses in the opening round. 

India and Australia, who open their account on October 8, are without points so far.
