India secured their spot in the ICC Cricket World Cup semifinals after a dominating performance against Sri Lanka, where the pace trio of Mohammed Shami, Mohammed Siraj, and Jasprit Bumrah played a pivotal role. Former Pakistani speedster Shoaib Akhtar praised India's relentless approach and expressed his excitement about the Indian fast bowlers' potential impact on the marquee tournament.

Akhtar highlighted India's ability to dominate their opponents. He emphasized the growing threat India poses to other teams, suggesting that their relentless pursuit of victory could be challenging to counter.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Akhtar said, “India are becoming a ruthless side. Their charge could become impossible to stop. But I want India to start celebrating their fast bowlers. Because today, every single ball was an event at Wankhede, it was so exciting,” Akhtar said on his YouTube channel.

“Personally, I am very happy for Mohammed Shami. He's finally found his rhythm, taken 14 wickets in just 3 matches. Siraj is also running in; Bumrah is always lethal - it's because of him the other two have got freedom. Bumrah's got an amazing skillset. I really hope they all can stay fit till the end of the tournament,” Akhtar added.

India's relentless pursuit of excellence was evident in their recent match against Sri Lanka, where they secured a resounding 302-run victory. Shami, Siraj, and Bumrah's performances demonstrated their growing dominance in the World Cup, and their collective efforts have played a significant role in India's journey to the semifinals.

Akhtar's praise for the Indian pace trio reflects the high expectations and excitement surrounding their contributions to the team's success.
