Virat Kohli finally gets to his 49th ODI hundred.
After falling agonisingly short of the milestone twice, the wait finally ended for Virat as he achieved the special feat on Sunday.
The King from Delhi tamed South Africa in Kolkata and equalled Sachin Tendulkar's record of scoring the most hundreds in the history of ODI cricket.
What made the knock even more memorable was the fact that he achieved it on his 35th birthday, making the occasion extra special. Interestingly, Kohli had also scored his maiden ODI hundred at the Eden Gardens.
He remained unbeaten on a gritty 121-ball-101 on a tricky track and also took his overall century count to 79, just 21 behind Sachin's record of 100 international tons.
