He has done it! Virat Kohli has made history in Mumbai! The King has gone past Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar to become the cricketer with most centuries in ODI cricket! Virat Kohli, who was tied with Sachin on 49 ODI tons, became the first cricketer ever to score 50 international centuries in 50-over cricket.

Kohli also broke Sachin Tendulkar's record for most runs in a single World Cup edition, going past Sachin's 673 runs he achieved in the 2003 edition. And Kohli, 20 years later, has breached that mark.

It was a very special moment for Kohli, who couldn't hold back his emotions after surpassing his idol at Sachin's home ground, the iconic Wankhede Stadium.
