A clinical bowling effort complemented captain Scott Edwards' gritty half-century as the Netherlands registered a massive 87-run win over Bangladesh in the World Cup.
Edwards overcame an edgy start to score a second World Cup fifty and take his team to a modest 229 all out after they opted to bat on a fresh Eden pitch.

While it should have been a manageable task for Bangla Tigers their batters yet again came up with an insipid show. Unable to cope with Paul van Meekeren's bowling, the team was bundled out for 142 in 42.2 overs. The 30-year-old was the pick of the bowlers for the Dutch with figures of 4-23.
This was a fifth defeat on the trot for Bangladesh and their campaign is as good as over with three matches remaining for them.
