The writing was on the wall and it did come true. Australia held India to a draw in the 4th Test in Ahmedabad as Rohit Sharma's men won the 4-match series 2-1.
Australia was 175/2 on the final day before the two captains decided to shake hands well before the designated overs were completed.
Axar Patel was the only Indian bowler who managed to pick up a wicket on the final day, while Travis Head top-scored for the Aussies with a gritty 90.
It's now the 4th consecutive Border-Gavaskar Trophy victory for Team India, with 2 of the previous wins coming in Australia.
