Australia have their noses slightly in front in the Delhi Test after they stretched their lead to 62 runs and have 9 wickets in hand.
The momentum fluctuated rapidly after India managed to keep Australia's lead down to just 1 run, all thanks to a brilliant 114-run 8th-wicket partnership between Axar Patel & Ravichandran Ashwin.
After Nathan Lyon's fifer, India were in fact staring down the barrel at 139/7 but Axar with 74 & Ashwin's 37 brought India right back into the contest. India were in ascendancy then.
However, with less than an hour to go, the Aussies came out with real intent, scoring more than 5 runs per over. While they lost Usman Khawaja, Travis Head's unbeaten 39 off 40 saw the visitors finish the day at 61/1 from 12 overs.
