KL Rahul-led Team India dominated the Bangla Tigers throughout as the Men in Blue registered a thumping 188-run in the first Test in Chattogram to take a 1-0 lead in the 2-match series.
Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav starred for India in the final innings even as they needed just 50 minutes to finish the game off. India who needed 4 wickets for victory when the day started, bowled Bangladesh out for 324.
Bangladesh added 52 runs in 11.2 overs in the morning session while Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav finished with 4 and 3 wickets respectively.
India earlier in the 1st innings had scored 404 runs courtesy of Pujara's 90 and Shreyas Iyer's 86. Bangladesh however could only garner 150 runs in their first innings. In the second essay, India added another 258 runs as Pujara and Shubman Gill hit a century each.
The second and final Test starts on December 22 in Mirpur.
