Team India registered an easy victory against the Black Caps in the 2nd ODI, chasing down the paltry target inside 21 overs to take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the 3-match series.
Chasing just 109, openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill made a collective total of 91 runs for the opening wicket, with Rohit Sharma scoring a fifty. And while India lost Rohit & Virat Kohli in quick succession, Shubman Gill ensured there were no more hiccups.
Earlier, Mohammed Shami led the Indian bowling lineup with his 3 wickets in what was a sensational bowling display from the home side who restricted the New Zealand batting lineup to a mere 108 - their 3rd lowest ODI total ever against the Indians.
