It was another good day at Chepauk for the Chennai Super Kings as the home team beat Sunrisers Hyderabad by 7 wickets.
Put in to bat first, the Hyderabad batting order fell victim to the CSK bowling attack with opener Harry Brook dismissed for just 18 runs at the start.
His opening partner Abhishek Sharma top scored for the Sunrisers with 34 runs on the night.
It was Ravindra Jadeja who led the CSK bowling attack with figures of 3/22 on the night which restricted SRH to a paltry 134/7.
In reply, CSK openers started off in some fashion with Devon Conway and Ruturaj Gaikwad putting up an 87-run stand after which Gaikwad fell to an unlucky run out for 35.
However, it was Devon Conway who stood his ground at the other end and produced a match winning knock, an unbeaten 57-ball-77 that took Chennai home with 8 balls to spare.
