IPL 2023 dates are finally out!
The 16th edition of the world's biggest T20 extravaganza begins on March 31, with defending champions Gujarat Titans hosting the Chennai Super Kings in the opening clash at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
The two-month-long tournament will conclude at the same venue on May 28, while the league stage will finish a week earlier on May 21.
The tournament will also return to its original format of 7 home and 7 away games, with a total of 70 league matches scheduled. There will be 18 double-headers, with the day game starting at 3:30 PM and all evening games beginning at 7:30 PM.
12 venues are set to host the league stage as Punjab Kings and Rajasthan Royals will play two home games each in Dharamsala and Guwahati respectively.
