Lucknow Super Kings shed the horrors of their previous match as they registered a comprehensive 56-run win over the Punjab Kings in Mohali.
Chasing a mammoth 258-run target, Punjab were off to a worst possible start, losing captain Shikhar Dhawan in first over itself.
However, a 78-run stand between Sikandar Raza and Atharva Taide raised Punjab's hopes. But the hosts were always way behind the asking rate.

After Taide's departure for a 36-ball 66, PBKS kept losing wickets amidst the rapid rise in run rate. They finally fell short by 56 runs on a batting paradise. Yash Thakur was pick of the bowlers for LSG with 4 wickets, while Naveen-ul-Haq took 3.
Earlier, a display of brutal hitting from Kyle Mayers and Marcus Stoinis, with Pooran & Badoni in support fired Lucknow Super Giants to 257 for five, the second highest total in IPL history.
