The Sunrisers Hyderabad completed their revenge against Delhi Capitals as they beat them by 9-runs in Delhi on Saturday.
Put to bat first, Hyderabad lost opener Mayank Agarwal (5) in the 3rd over itself.
His opening partner Abhishek Sharma continued the proceedings for the visitors and ended up with a brilliant 36-ball 67 on the night.
However, quickfire wickets from Delhi saw Hyderabad struggle at 109/5 at 11.3 overs.
In came Heinrich Klaasen who scored a fiery 27-ball 53 to steer SRH to a competitive total of 197/6 in the end.
In reply, DC started their chase in the worst way possible by losing skipper David Warner on a duck on the second delivery.
However, the all important partnership of opener Phil Salt (59) & Mitchell Marsh (63) got Delhi on the front foot in the chase.
It looked like a smooth sailing for Delhi until both the batters got dismissed within 14 overs, leaving the home side at 125/4 after 13.2 overs.
Axar Patel too tried to win the game but his 14-ball 29 wasn't enough on the night as the visitors broke a 3-match losing streak against Delhi in the IPL.
