Lucknow Super Giants pace machine Mayank Yadav has taken the cricket world by storm after just two matches.
Yadav's sensational pace has rattled batters and former cricketers alike with several cricket legends heaping praises on the 21-year-old.
Former Australian star Brett Lee expressed that he is very impressed with what he's seen so far, adding that he's got great pace and nice action.
Lee stated that he's excited to see how he progresses in the next few months while also emphasising, 'First things first, I don't want to put any extra pressure on him because if we are talking about the chance to represent India, it could put pressure on a guy who is just 21 years of age.'
South African legend and former SRH fast bowling coach Dale Steyn wondered where the youngster had been for so long, following his match-winning 3-wicket haul against Punjab.
And when Yadav clocked 156.7 KPH vs RCB, Steyn went on to tweet, 'That's a serious ball!'
Ian Bishop, the West Indies great, known for his in-depth analysis of every player, termed Yadav, 'a child of the wind' adding that, 'Nothing else needs to be seen to add a sixth name to the fast bowling contracts list.'
Bishop was referencing to BCCI's special fast bowling contracts handed out to 5 pacers, earlier this year.
