Just a few months ago, nothing seemed to be going as per plan for Ravi Bishnoi.

A below-par IPL 2022 saw him pick up just 13 wickets in 14 matches. His economy rate of 8.44 was also concerning for the Lucknow Super Giants, who signed the youngster as one of their three picks before the mega auction that year.

In search of his mojo, Bishnoi was hit with another disappointment when his name didn't feature in Team India's squad for the T20 World Cup 2022 as well as the T20I series against Australia and South Africa.

While many players would have gone into a shell, Bishnoi had other plans.

'The Sun will rise again' read a story posted by him on Instagram.

And, it did.

Come IPL 2023 and the 22-year-old was ready to answer his critics in style.

They say that when the going gets tough, the tough get going. Same is the case with a rejuvenated Bishnoi.

The leg spinner has not just been the knight in shining armour for LSG in this IPL but has turned out to be their most lethal weapon. He has been the chief destroyer and it's a blessing for KL Rahul to have him up his sleeves.

Ravi started the season with a bang and picked up 2 wickets vs the Delhi Capitals, to make it a special homecoming for the Lucknow team.

Bishnoi backed it up witih a super show in Chennai. When CSK batters were going hell for leather against other bowlers, Ravi spun his web of destruction with figures of 3/28 and rattled CSK's top order.

It may have been just 2 games so far for him, but Bishnoi has made a loud statement that he is here to reclaim his lost glory.
