Delhi Capitals' massive 6-wicket victory over Gujarat Titans on Wednesday was not the only exciting occurrence in Ahmedabad.

In an interesting and unexpected move, Delhi captain Rishabh Pant was awarded Player of the Match award for his captaincy, wicketkeeping and batting skills.

Pant completed 2 stumpings and 2 catches during the first innings while leading his team to Gujarat's 89-all out downfall.

Later in the evening, he ensured his 11-ball 16 took his team over the finish line for two crucial points.

A POTM award for wicketkeeping is unheard of in IPL history, let alone in cricket.

Pant & Co. registered their biggest-ever IPL win in terms of balls left after reaching their target of 90 in just 8.5 overs.
