As Dhoni showed his prowess with the bat against Lucknow Super Giants in the 7th match of the 2022 season of the Indian Premier League, the ex-Chennai Super kings' skipper achieved another milestone on Friday.
Dhoni who smashed a 6 ball 16* against KL Rahul's team has now become the 6th Indian cricketer to collect over 7,000 runs in the shortest format of the game.
Dhoni has 7,001 runs from 349 T20 games that he played so far. Apart from him, the list includes Virat Kohli (10,326), Rohit Sharma (9,936) Suresh Raina (8,654), Shikhar Dhawan (8,818), and Robin Uthappa (7,120).

He also played a sensational knock against Kolkata where he scored an unbeaten 50 in 38 balls. However, the Ravindra Jadeja-led side has failed to win in both matches they have played so far this season.
