Gujarat Titans will begin their IPL 2022 campaign against Lucknow Super Giants on March 28 at Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. The newly inducted IPL team from the current season have bagged Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill and Rashid Khan as their draft pick ahead of auctions.

The franchise later went on to appoint Hardik Pandya as their captain. This will be Pandya's second IPL team after Mumbai Indians.

Gujarat Titans Predicted Playing XI for IPL 2022

Shubman Gill is likely to open Gujarat's innings along with Australia's Mathew Wade. However, Wade is not available till April 6 given Australia will be playing a white-ball series in Pakistan.

In that case, Gujarat would draft Rahmanullah Gurbaz in the Playing XI as the Afghani player can be used as a keeper too. The middle-order will be studded with David Miller, Vijay Shankar, Gurkeerat Mann and captain Hardik Pandya. The pace department will be led by Lockie Ferguson and Mohammed Shami among others.
