Delhi Capitals superstar Anrich Nortje arrived in Mumbai ahead of the upcoming IPL 2022, which is set to begin on March 26th. Upon his arrival, Nortje who was retained by the franchise for 6.5 crores, posted an image of himself along with his wife, Micaela on Instagram.
With his Mumbai touchdown, DC fans and the franchise heaved a sigh of relief as the South African pacer's participation in the 15th edition was doubtful. He had not been participating in international games for the past 5 months due to his hip injury. Nortje's name was also excluded from ongoing South Africa vs Bangladesh 3-match ODI series.

In the absence of Avesh Khan and Kagiso Rabada, Nortje will lead the pace attack alongside Shardul Thakur and Khaleel Ahmad. DC will begin their IPL campaign on 27th March against Mumbai Indians.
