Mumbai Indians' Ishan Kishan has been going through a terrible form in IPL 2022 as he has managed to score just 370 runs from 13 matches. Kishan scored 43 runs off 34 balls in MI's previous match vs SRH on Tuesday, which Mumbai lost by 3 runs.
In the post-match conference, Kishan said, "Even the biggest of players can struggle, I have seen the likes of Chris Gayle taking time."

Talking about his role in the team, Mumbai's second-highest run-getter said that cricketers don't have just one role in the team and if opposition bowlers bowl well, then batters need to give them respect and save their wicket to make it easy for the upcoming batters.
Notably, Mumbai Indians bought Jharkhand batter ahead of IPL 2022 for a whopping ₹15.25 crore.
