Gujarat Titans suffered their first defeat of the season as Kane Williamson guided Sunrisers Hyderabad to an 8 wicket win at the DY Patil Stadium on Monday.
The openers did most of the job for SRH as Kane Williamson along with Abhishek Sharma made a crucial 64 run partnership for the first wicket. While Sharma hit a 32 ball 42 before being removed by Rashid Khan, Williamson patiently batted almost throughout the innings and scored a crucial 57 in 46 balls. He was later, supported by Nicholas Pooran who scored a quick 34 off 18 and took the team over the finish line.

Earlier, Gujarat's top order failed as Hardik Pandya steered the ship for most of the innings. Pandya scored a 50 in 42 balls as wickets on the other end kept falling. He was supported by Abhinav Manohar who added 35 off 21 balls, to ensure that the Titans crossed the 150-run mark. Bhuvneshwar Kumar and T Natrajan got 2 wickets each for Hyderabad.
