The IPL 2022 has been a nightmare for 5-time champions Mumbai Indians as they have lost all 5 matches played so far. Fans and cricket experts have different opinions regarding Mumbai and Rohit's performance but the former South African captain Graeme Smith feels that the mental strain of leading the Indian Cricket Team may be impacting his performance.

Speaking with Cricket.com, Smith said, "This is the first tournament he is captaining MI since becoming India's white-ball captain. Does that mental strain take a toll on the IPL? It's something to consider."

Smith further said, "when he is scoring runs, MI is going to win a lot of the time."

Rohit was appointed India's ODI & T20 captain in December last year and he became test captain in February this year.
