A lot of bowlers celebrate after taking a wicket on the cricket field but Krunal Pandya’s gestures on the middle ground after the dismissal of MI's Kieron Pollard on Sunday night were quite strange and unseen. Even if it was their personal understanding, the celebration style of the Lucknow bowler has definitely irked the social media users. Perhaps, the pictures show that the Caribbean batsman also took offense at the behavior of his ex-teammate.

When the match was almost out of the grip of Mumbai Indians, Krunal Pandya came to bowl the last over of the innings from Lucknow. Krunal got Pollard’s wicket on the first ball of the over. As Pollard was returning to the dugout, Krunal first tried to shake hands with him, after Pollard did not react, Pandya jumped and hugged Pollard from behind and kissed his head to celebrate the wicket.
After the match, the ex-Mumbai player, Krunal clarified his behavior during a conversation with Star Sports. He said that he and Pollard are good friends and since Pollard had earlier dismissed Krunal, it was necessary for him to get Pollard out. Krunal told that if he did not get Pollard out, he would have been teasing him for the rest of his life.
